We are looking for a Budget Analyst in San Diego, California.
- Summary
- Performs budgeting, financial tracking, analysis, forecasting, and fund execution support across APN, O&MN, RDT&E, FMS, and WCF accounts. Processes funding documents, reconciles accounts, compiles financial reports, evaluates budget requests, maintains financial data, and supports compliance with DoD financial regulations.
- Responsibilities
- Monitor, reconcile, and report on budget obligations and expenditures.
- Support development of financial forecasts and spend plans.
- Prepare budget documentation and metrics for leadership review.
- Maintain financial data in Navy ERP and local business tools.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- 2+ years of federal budgeting or financial management experience.
- Knowledge of DoD appropriations and Navy ERP systems.
- Strong Excel and data reconciliation skills.
- Must possess an active Secret Clearance - Required
