• Position Summary
• We are seeking a Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team and help deliver exceptional morning meals to our guests. This role focuses on executing made to order breakfast menu items with consistency, efficiency, and care—ranging from hot dishes and egg preparations to grab-and-go selections and smoothie offerings. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, early-morning kitchen, takes pride in presentation and precision, and finds joy in creating a warm, welcoming start to each guest’s day.
• Key Responsibilities
• Culinary Execution
• Prepare and cook all breakfast menu items according to recipes and quality standards including eggs cooked to order.
• Maintain consistency in presentation, portioning, and taste for all dishes.
• Ensure all food items are prepared in compliance with Health and Safety standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and supplies before service.
• Monitor and maintain par levels of prep items throughout breakfast and lunch service.
• Operations & Efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and prep area throughout the shift.
• Properly label, date, and store all food items.
• Assist in inventory management and communicate low-stock or supply needs promptly.
• Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures.
• Teamwork & Collaboration
• Work collaboratively with the culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service transitions.
• Communicate effectively during service to uphold timing and quality standards.
• Support a positive, inclusive, and solution-oriented kitchen culture.
• Guest Experience
• Prepare breakfast items with care and attention to presentation, ensuring each plate reflects our commitment to wellness and quality.
• When interacting with guests, maintain a friendly, professional, and hospitable demeanor.
• Requirements
• Qualifications
• Previous experience as a made to order Breakfast Cook, Line Cook, or Prep Cook in a café, hotel, or restaurant setting required.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Oregon Food Handler’s Card prior to start.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work efficiently under morning service pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and team-first mindset.
• Must be available for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
