Job Description I’m looking for an experienced bookkeeper and tax specialist who can help with: Preparing and filing past-year business tax returns: S-Corp return Single-Member LLC return (Schedule C) Reviewing financials (currently organized in spreadsheets) for accuracy and completeness Advising on entity structures and tax-saving opportunities The right candidate should have proven experience filing both S-Corp and Schedule C returns, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain strategies in clear, simple terms. This starts as a catch-up tax filing project, with the option to continue as a part-time advisor/bookkeeper if it’s a great fit. Requirements Strong experience filing U.S. S-Corp tax returns (Form 1120-S) Experience filing Single-Member LLC returns (Schedule C with Form 1040) Ability to review and file directly from spreadsheets (no QBO required) Excellent communication skills and ability to explain tax strategies clearly Knowledge of construction/real estate/project-based industries is a plus Screening – Video Questions 🎥 To apply, please record a short video (2–3 minutes per question is fine) answering the following: Walk me through your experience filing S-Corp tax returns — what are the most common mistakes you’ve seen and how do you avoid them?
