Project Overview I am seeking an experienced book/journal designer to create a professional cover design (front and back) and format interior front matter pages for a faith-based devotional journal. This is a blank journal with custom front matter that will be sold commercially through my wellness business, Living Legacy Health. Project Scope What I Need: 1. Outside Cover Design (Front & Back) Professional, elegant, spiritual aesthetic appropriate for faith-based market Cohesive front and back cover design Space for barcode on back cover Design must appeal to Christian women, educators, and wellness-focused audience 2. Inside Cover Design Inside front and inside back cover formatting Minimal design elements that complement the outside cover 3. Interior Pages Formatting 6 pages (3 sheets, front and back) of front matter Professional typography and layout Design elements that align with cover aesthetic 4. Template Compliance All designs must be formatted according to Printify templates and specifications Files must be print-ready with proper bleed, trim marks, and resolution requirements Designer must have experience working with Printify or similar print-on-demand platforms Must be familiar with Printify's book/journal printing specifications and file requirements Note: Specific project details, content, titles, and design direction will be discussed during the interview process and provided upon hiring. Intellectual Property & Rights Ownership IMPORTANT: This is a work-for-hire agreement. By accepting this project, you agree that: Full Rights Transfer: Upon final payment, I (Living Legacy Health) will own ALL rights to the designs created for this project, including copyright ownership, full commercial rights to use, reproduce, distribute, and sell the journal, and rights to modify or adapt the designs in the future. Work-for-Hire: All work created under this contract is considered "work-for-hire" and becomes my sole property upon completion and payment. No Designer Attribution Required: While I appreciate your work, you will not be credited on the book cover or interior pages. You may include the cover design in your portfolio with my permission. Original Work Only: You must confirm that all design elements are either created originally by you for this project OR licensed stock elements that include commercial rights transferable to me. No Future Claims: You waive any future claims to royalties, residuals, or additional compensation beyond the agreed project fee. Transfer of Files: You will provide all source files, fonts, and design elements used in the project. You must explicitly agree to these terms in your proposal.
