- We are currently looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support our two Queens Schools. The Clearview School is located at 146-28 Jasmine Ave Flushing, NY 11355 and The Forest Hills West School is located at 63-25 Dry Harbor Rd, Middle Village, NY 11379.

- SUMMARY
- Under general supervision, the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at ADAPT Community Network’s Preschool Program is responsible for conducting behavioral assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based interventions for students with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The BCBA collaborates closely with teaching staff, related service providers, and families to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key duties and responsibilities of the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) include but are not limited to
- Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develops Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.
- Analyzes psychological, educational, and adaptive behavior assessments to inform behavioral programming.
- Designs and oversees implementation of behavior support strategies and skill acquisition programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Collaborates with teachers and classroom staff to model and support evidence-based behavior management techniques.
- Attends and participates in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, case conferences, and other team meetings to review progress and make necessary plan modifications.
- Provides in-situ coaching, modeling, and training for instructional staff to ensure fidelity of behavior support plans.
- Collects and analyzes data to monitor student progress and modifies programming as needed.
- Communicates effectively with parents/guardians regarding behavioral progress and strategies for home consistency.
- Provides staff development and training on behavior management, data collection, and implementation of ABA strategies.
- Supports classroom needs, including transitions, feeding, toileting, and crisis management, as necessary.
- Maintains accurate documentation in compliance with ADAPT policies, DOE regulations, and best practices in the field.
- Stays current with best practices and emerging research in behavior analysis and early childhood development.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Program Director.
- QUALIFICATIONS

- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing behavior support plans, preferably with preschool-aged children with developmental disabilities and/or autism.
- In-depth knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies.
- Experience working in interdisciplinary team settings and school-based environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to coach, train, and support educators and paraprofessionals.

- COMPENSATION: $90,000 - $93,000 annually + Industry-Leading Benefits for all full-time employees.
