Job Summary
The Billing Specialist will complete Invoicing and Pay Application Billing activities in the organization, ensuring accurate and timely actions to meet current and future needs of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Complete individual processing tasks as assigned and back-up where needed
- Process all daily invoices.
- Determine prioritization on their own work in order to meet tight deadlines
- Maintains detailed tracking of monthly deliverables to enable effective management of workflows and metrics for management review
- Resolve customer discrepancies, as applicable
- Ensure best practice controls are implemented around the billing process
- Generate pre-bill reports and verify all information is accurate prior to billing
- Work with clients on providing necessary support
- Assist Management in special projects
- Provides constructive and timely Pay App billing or Daily Invoicing
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization's operations division.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
- Collaborates with division leadership to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Reviews and advises on cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for capacity by operational discipline.
- Establishes and administers the department's budget.
- Collaborates and provides input for the divisional operational budgets annually.
- Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the C-Suite and other leadership.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
- Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Various other accounting and reporting projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
