Job Title: Bilingual Remote Instructional Aide

Location: Fresno, CA (Remote Position)

Classification: Non-Exempt

Compensation: Part-Time/Seasonal position (hourly rate)

Job Summary: The Bilingual Remote Instructional Aide supports online educational services by providing individualized and small group instruction for 1st-12th grade students in English Language Arts and Mathematics. This role focuses on creating a personalized, engaging, and supportive online learning experience. Additionally, the Bilingual Remote Instructional Aide will assist a credentialed teacher with various tasks, such as taking attendance, contacting students and families before, during, and after the program, and ensuring smooth program implementation. As a part-time Instructional Aide you will: ● Facilitate virtual small group and one-on-one sessions to support student learning. ● Engage and motivate students during online instruction to maintain an interactive and supportive environment. ● Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress and share feedback with the lead teacher and supervisor. ● Assist a credentialed teacher by taking attendance, contacting students and families before, during, and after program completion, and supporting other administrative tasks as needed. ● Contact families and students via phone to conduct recruitment and follow up with students who are absent to ensure participation. ● Maintain consistent communication with students and families to address academic and support needs. ● Utilize UWLF’s curriculum and teaching tools effectively during virtual sessions. ● Commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, including evenings and Saturdays, with flexibility. ● Build rapport with students to establish a positive and fun virtual learning atmosphere. Requirements: ● Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written preferred). ● Experience working in student support services, educational settings, or virtual learning platforms. ● Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Zoom, and other e-learning tools. ● A results-driven, adaptable, and collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving skills. ● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. ● Effective verbal and written communication skills. ● Passionate about education and empowering students, especially underserved communities. ● Must have personal technology and a reliable internet connection. Job Type: Part-time / Temporary

Salary: $18-$20/hour (Hourly rate based on experience)

Language: English and Spanish (spoken & written preferred)

Work Location: Remote position

Projected Start Date: September 2, 2025 Projected End Date: December 12, 2025

Training and Experience:

● Minimum of 2 years of experience as a teacher, assistant, or tutor.

● A bachelor’s degree or at least 60 college credits in education, ELA, or math is preferred.

● Familiarity with virtual instruction or willingness to be trained in virtual teaching methods.
