• SANY’s Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse Elementary school is excited to announce the opening of a Behavior Specialist role for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

We need a professional who will

• · Consistently implement our code of conduct.
• · Train and educate all stakeholders about the implementation of the student code of conduct.
• · Be visible and accessible to the students and staff.
• · Analyze data to identify trends in behavior, make necessary adjustments, and implement an action plan.
• · Identify students with behavior and establish corrective plans for individuals or groups.
• · Develop positive relationships with the students and parents to foster a respectful and professional school environment.
• · Work with school counselors and teachers collaboratively to develop and help implement the RTI process for individuals or groups.
• · Support and work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, and parents while demonstrating a professional manner.

Qualifications

• · Bachelor's Degree Required
• · Experience with diverse population of students or in an urban setting a plus.
• · Fingerprint clearance through NYS Department of Education
