• About Little Ruby’s Café
• Little Ruby’s Café is known for its warm Australian-style hospitality, fresh seasonal menus, and vibrant neighborhood atmosphere. Our Williamsburg location is one of Brooklyn’s busiest all-day cafés, and we’re looking for an energetic Barback to support our bar team and keep service running smoothly.

• About the Role
• As a Barback, you’ll play a key support role behind the bar—stocking, organizing, cleaning, and assisting bartenders to ensure quick, seamless service. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn the ins and outs of bar operations.

• What You’ll Do
• Stock, restock, and organize bar supplies, glassware, and ingredients
• Assist bartenders with service needs to keep pace during busy shifts
• Keep the bar and surrounding areas clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Support with food and drink running as needed
• Maintain back-of-house storage, liquor displays, and refrigeration areas
• Empty trash, break down boxes, and ensure proper waste disposal
• Follow all opening/closing side work and bar setup procedures
• Communicate clearly with teammates and management for smooth service flow
• Uphold Department of Health and company sanitation standards
• What We’re Looking For
• Previous barback or hospitality experience in a high-volume setting preferred
• Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain after hire)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
