This posting is for our main location in downtown Millburn, as well as our kiosk located in The Mall at Short Hills. Most of our staff works between the two locations.

Job responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service to customers
• Follow opening checklists to display product, set up equipment, package products
• Follow closing checklists to break down the retail area and close the store and cafe
• Pack customers' purchases
• Heat and finish products, following strict food safety standards
• Cafe support with running orders and bussing tables
• Maintain a strong level of cleanliness with a focus on 'clean as you go'
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation requirements
• Work as part of a strong team to get the work done with communication, focus, and joy!

Skills and qualifications:

• Ability to work in a team environment, understanding that hospitality and food service requires flexibility, cooperation, and professionalism
• High energy and engaging personality; professional demeanor
• Ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time
• Ability to stay calm and focused during extremely busy service
• Available to work flexible hours that are required by the food service industry, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Experience in a similar customer-facing position or food service industry is required
• Have a passion for delicious and quality coffee, breads and baked goods!

Open since August 2018, Liv Breads, with two retail locations in Millburn and Short Hills has built a reputation for quality and consistency of product and service. Our specialty is artisan sourdoughs, laminated pastry, and fresh and creative seasonal sandwiches and salads.
