Junior-Mid Backend Developer (Python, Remote) We’re building a next-generation social payments platform and need a Mid-Senior Backend Developer (Python) to join our team. This is a remote, long-term role where you’ll own backend services end-to-end and help us deliver secure, scalable payments. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Python (FastAPI) microservices • Design relational schemas and write/tune SQL (Postgres/MySQL) • Build secure, scalable APIs for mobile and payment integrations • Ensure performance & reliability (profiling, monitoring, alerts) • Deploy and automate with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud environments • Implement strong security (OAuth2/JWT, encryption, rate limiting) • Collaborate with product/dev teams and mentor juniors Requirements • 2+ years Python backend experience (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) • Strong SQL and database design skills • Hands-on cloud deployment experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) • Proven track record of end-to-end delivery • Fintech or high-scale backend experience is a plus • Open to candidates with unpaid internship experience if skills are demonstrated Hiring Process • Short technical test required • Interview & culture fit round Incentives • Competitive pay with performance bonuses • Fully remote, flexible work hours • Growth opportunities in a fast-scaling fintech startup
