Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team. Hillsview is a Christ centered daycare, focused on nurturing and guiding through Gods teachings.

We are looking for a Lead Preschool teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. You will work closely with preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and educational needs are met.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Create a safe and welcoming environment for children to explore and learn.
• Engage children in play-based learning activities that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
• Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Patience and empathy in dealing with young children’s needs and behaviors.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain is required.
• This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about early childhood education and are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
