We’re seeking an experienced automation engineer to help us design and build an initial Minimum Viable Product (MVP) automation workflow for our company’s bloodwork analysis process. The workflow will involve integrating cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, secure email delivery systems, AI models) and structuring outputs into client-ready formats. This is not a one-off script — we need a foundation that is affordable, scalable, and stable that can evolve into a broader automation system over time. Project Scope (MVP Phase): • Monitor a folder in Google Workspace for incoming client-ready files (e.g., bloodwork data). • Trigger an automated pipeline that: • Calls an AI model (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, or other recommended engines) using specific prompts we provide. • Runs a quality check using a second AI model to catch errors/missed insights. • Outputs a human-readable draft report into a separate “Draft Review” folder. • Ensure the process is HIPAA-conscious (no PII exposure), stable, and easy for non-technical team members to use. Future Scope (Beyond MVP): • Automatically capture PDFs from incoming secure emails and file them into the correct client folders. • Auto-generate styled summary reports and draft outbound client emails. • Scale the workflow to support multiple corporate clients with thousands of employees. You Should Have Experience With: • Workflow automation tools (UiPath, Zapier, Make, or equivalent RPA frameworks). • API integrations with AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Grok, Perplexity, etc.). • Google Workspace automation. • Secure handling of sensitive data in healthcare/wellness contexts (HIPAA familiarity is a plus). What We’re Looking For: • Ability to recommend the simplest, most affordable, and scalable architecture (not tied to one tool). • Clear communication and documentation — we’re a small business and need someone who can explain things plainly. • Someone who can deliver the MVP quickly, then collaborate with us on incremental improvements.
