We are seeking an experienced electrical designer and AutoCAD technician to support the copy and modification of an original “FOR CONSTRUCTION” drawing set to a new drawing set for a similar project. Scope of Work: Your primary responsibility will be to use .dwgs from a previous project called AFCU 30in Waterline Vault. Rename, modify and finalize a set of AutoCAD drawings for a new set called Hill Field Culinary Vault The drawings consist of 2 different panels an Electrical Panel and a PLC Panel. It is ok to combine them if that works better and is more efficient. Interpret and apply the redlines across the entire drawing set, not just on the individual sheet where they are noted. Create and provide an Excel file BOM based on the interpretation of the comments and redlines. Exercise sound engineering judgment to identify which related sheets are affected by a comment or field change and implement updates throughout accordingly. Assess electrical diagrams and wiring schematics for completeness and accuracy. Flag any issues and collaborate with our team to resolve them. Ensure the final drawing set is construction-accurate, clean, and ready for record submission. Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical. Strong understanding of electrical design, schematics, and panel layout drawings. Ability to read, interpret, and apply redlines and field markup instructions accurately. Capable of working independently with minimal oversight. Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with M8 Automation’s engineering team as needed.
