- A/V Support & Commissioning Technician
- Travel: Moderate | Mix of Remote and Onsite Support & Integration
- Do you enjoy troubleshooting complex systems and helping customers succeed? This role combines technical support expertise with hands-on commissioning for advanced audio-visual solutions.
- As an A/V Support & Commissioning Technician, you’ll provide remote and onsite support for established A/V systems, ensuring they run flawlessly. You’ll also play a key role in commissioning new installations, verifying system performance, and training customers for long-term success.
- What You’ll Do
- Deliver expert support for installed A/V systems via phone, remote access, and onsite visits.
- Commission new systems: Verify installations, configure hardware/software, and ensure everything works as designed.
- Train customers on system operation and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues across diverse environments—from single-room setups to multi-room and campus-wide systems.
- Collaborate with project managers for smooth handovers and customer satisfaction.
- What You Bring
- Strong experience with Crestron programming, Biamp/QSC DSP setup, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of AV over IP, HDBaseT, Dante, AVB, and other industry-standard protocols.
- Familiarity with conferencing systems (voice and video), council chambers, and multi-room installations.
- Expertise in wired and wireless microphone technologies.
- A working understanding of computer networks.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer support.

- Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree desired coupled with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Possess an exceptionally professional, clean-cut, look and demeanor, as the face of the company to the customer.
- Infocomm certification; CTS minimum, CTS-D/I a plus.
- Crestron certifications including DMC-E, DM-NVX, Crestron P201 or above.
- Biamp (TesiraForte), Shure (MXW and ISC), Dante (Audinate), and QSC (Q-Sys level 1) certifications.
- Experience with Cisco, Polycom, Lifesize and other videoconferencing endpoints.
- Experience with Crestron, QSC, Extron, Kramer, as well as major vendor endpoint (Panasonic, NEC, Samsung, Da-Lite) devices.
- Experience with Visio, Stardraw, or other CAD packages.
- Knowledge and experience terminating and maintaining AV connectors and cables (XLR, DVI, HDMI, 3.5mm, RCA, DB-9, etc.).
- Very knowledgeable in Excel and other Microsoft products.
- Ability to work alone or with a team of diverse individuals.
- Able to work within a strict timeframe and hard deadlines.
- Able to travel 50-75% of the time (mostly in-state, or Oklahoma).
- Able to pass a background check at the local, state, and national levels
