Document information systems and develop system enhancements/modifications technical plans for small to moderately sized projects to properly meet business and technical requirements. Be a focal point of communication between GTS staff, management, and business partners. Perform strategic technical research and analysis for all lines of business as needed.

Facilitate/foster communication between technical and business areas

Design system changes and modifications in relation to limited scope business and technical needs may aid in technical design creation for larger projects

Provide technical support in GTS projects, including system design, development, implementation, possible problem resolution, test design, and test coordination with minimal assistance

Convert user stories (business requirements) into technical system requirements

Identify, analyze, and resolve moderately complex technical problems within the area of responsibility

Assist in the analysis of technical projects, technical solution formation, and exploration of all possible alternatives

Develop presentations of technical materials, models, workflow diagrams, findings, plans, and/or conclusions

Provide support to technical areas as needed for problem resolution of moderately complex issues

Aid in developing technical plans and own the analysis; identify, and plan for scope, schedules, and risks that could impact the goals of projects of moderate complexity

Identify and implement process improvement strategies

Conduct technical research and analysis for all lines of business

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

2+ years of experience performing analysis of information systems

Prefer coding experience; must read/comprehend code in order to design technical specifications

Effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical employees

Proficient with the MS Office Suite of products, flowcharting, document management, and graphics creation/editing software

Skill to report technical information in clear and concise language, appropriate for the message and audience

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for simple to moderately complex problems

Excellent organization and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges: $58,656.00 - $92,328.00
