Position Summary
- The Associate Director plays a pivotal leadership role in a residential treatment program serving women with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, as well as their dependent children. The Associate Director works closely with the Sr. Director to ensure delivery of trauma-informed, gender-responsive, family-centered care that promotes long-term recovery and stability. This position oversees daily operations, supervises the Cheshire leadership team and ensures regulatory compliance, and supports the implementation of evidence-based practices in a nurturing, safe, and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of residential treatment services, ensuring quality care, safety, and compliance with licensing/accreditation standards.
- Supervise and support program staff through recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Contribute to client care by supporting assessments, treatment planning, and coordination with families and community partners.
- Monitor program outcomes, maintain data tracking systems, and support continuous quality improvement.
- Build and maintain strong community partnerships
- Employment Type: Full time Employee (W-2), Salary Exempt
- Typical Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday 8AM- 5PM
- Compensation: Starting Salary between $85,000 - $94,000 / Annually depending on qualifications and experience
- Requirements
Education & Experience Needed for Associate Director of Women's Residential
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field (required).
- Licensed or license-eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent).
- CADC II or higher
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or residential services.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or program management experience, preferably in a women and children’s program.

- This role requires the Associate Director to be primarily available on-site; Must be located in the Eugene, OR area or be willing to commute.
- Background Check Approval from the Department of Human Services (Initiated post-offer)
