- As the Associate, Corporate Finance, you will be assigned to support a variety of transactions and advisory projects, such as mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and other capital raises, as well as ongoing reporting to debt and equity investors, thus must have strong prioritization and multi-tasking capabilities. You will also be expected to be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to manage complex financial processes.
- The role of the Associate, Corporate Finance, is challenging and fast-paced. It requires dedication, passion for the industry and a very solid work ethic. You must be able to accept flexibility in time commitments to complete work assignments.
- As part of the Tillman Fiber Finance team, you will gain exposure to working with individuals from various groups across the firm, including accounting, FP&A, business development and Tillman Global Holdings.
- Job Responsibilities
Equity and Debt Financings
- Develop and execute strategies for equity and debt financings to support the company's growth and financial objectives.
- Manage relationships with investment banks, lenders, and investors to secure favorable financing terms.
- Prepare investor presentations, financial models, and offering documents.
- Engage with potential investors to communicate the company's investment story, outlook, value proposition and secure funding.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports and presentations for debt and equity investors, including quarterly and annual reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
- Heavily involved in the M&A process, including target identification, due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and integration.
- Work closely with external advisors, legal teams, and senior management to ensure successful deal execution.
- Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field.
- Previous experience and sound knowledge of investment and corporate banking products (Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity Capital Markets, and Lending)
- A track record in managing ambitious strategic and operationally complex projects with competing priorities delivered by cross-functional teams
