• Position: Cashier

• At Joseph’s Classic Market, our Cashiers are the final interaction customers have before leaving the store, making this role critical in providing a positive and lasting impression. In addition to delivering exceptional service, Cashiers are responsible for ensuring accurate pricing and transactions, directly impacting our store’s profitability.

Routine Tasks

• * Deliver customer service that meets the Joseph’s Classic Market standard
• * Weigh, scan, and accurately ring up products
• * Accept various forms of payment and provide correct change
• * Handle cash, credit, and other tender types with accuracy
• * Bag products efficiently and safely
• * Keep the register area clean and organized at all times
• * Assist with other tasks as assigned

 Qualifications

• * Must be at least 16 years of age
• * Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred
• * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• * Basic math and reading skills
• * Strong attention to detail
• * Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
• * A passion for serving people

• A Cashier’s work involves standing at a register for prolonged periods, repetitive arm and hand movements, moving and lifting product, and continuous interaction with customers and fellow employees.
