Title: Associate Butcher

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday; 7 am - 4 pm.

Type of Position: Full Time, Hourly

Main Duties:

- Harvest/ Slaughter of beef, hogs, sheep, elk

- Fabricate whole carcasses into primals and retail cuts

- Cut, trim, bone out retail cuts and trimmings

- Packaging retail cuts (including paper wrapping and vacuum sealing)

- Grinding and stuffing trimmings associated with whole carcass meat processing

- Formulation and production of further processed meats including sausages and cured whole muscle products.

- Daily cleaning, sanitizing, assembly, and maintenance of equipment and facility associated with whole carcass meat processing.

- Maintain cold storage organization and inventory of multiple meat products

- Customer service including loading bulk meat orders

- Perform daily monitoring and documentation of food safety programs..

Desired skills and attributes:

- Self motivated

- Organized

- Ability to work independently

- Previous experience cutting meat (preferred, not required)

- Ability to lift 50-75# at one time

- Flexible schedule

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
