• Good Harvest Market, Waukesha County’s largest independently owned natural & organic grocer, is currently seeking to hire a full-time Assistant Grocery Manager to support our Grocery Manager/Purchasing Lead in daily operations, ordering, merchandising, training support and customer service.

• This is an active, hands-on role that partners with the Grocery Manager and team to support daily operations and uphold department standards.

• What You’ll Do
• Support the Grocery Manager with daily organization and workflow.
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
• Maintain full, clean, and visually appealing displays.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory counts, and vendor coordination.
• Review product movement and help identify new items or slow sellers.
• Ensure signage accuracy and assist with resets, promotions, and layout changes.
• Help create and manage the weekly schedule.
• Assist in training and guiding grocery clerks on procedures and standards.
• Support general store needs such as carts, bagging, phones, and cross-department help as needed.

• Requirements
• 2–3 years grocery or retail experience.
• Experience in a lead or support role preferred.
• Knowledge of merchandising, ordering, and inventory preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Reliable attendance; ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical Requirements
• Lift 50+ lbs regularly.
• Stand/walk for long periods; bend, reach, and move frequently.
• Work in coolers, freezers, and occasionally wet conditions.
