- Compensation: $23.25–$25.00/hour (based on site assignment)

- About the Role
- We are hiring professional and reliable Armed Overnight Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of your assigned post. This role involves maintaining a visible, professional presence; responding to incidents; and ensuring the safety of clients, staff, and the public during overnight hours.

- Core Responsibilities
- Monitor property activity, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents as required
- Maintain firearms proficiency and follow all safety/legal standards
- Apply de-escalation techniques and sound judgement in challenging situations
- Write clear, accurate incident and activity reports
- Communicate effectively with clients, the public, and supervisors
- Use technology efficiently (smartphones, reporting tools, scheduling software)
- Represent PST with professionalism, integrity, and accountability

- Requirements
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Previous armed security experience required
- Military or law enforcement background strongly encouraged
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening
- CPR certified (or willing to complete provided training)
- Reliable personal transportation (public transit/rideshare not permitted for firearm transport)
- Able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
- Able to safely use, maintain, operate, and manipulate a firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
- Able to wear a duty belt and exterior tactical vest (position-specific) for the duration of assigned shifts
- Able to stand or walk for up to eight hours at a time
- Able to get in and out of a vehicle frequently throughout the shift (position-specific)
- Able to pass the company’s basic hand-to-hand defensive skills course
- Strong communication and situational awareness
