We’re seeking an experienced automation specialist or developer to create a workflow that takes incoming data from Zapier, processes or formats it in AWS, and then submits it to a client API in either JSON or XML format (depending on the client’s requirements). This is for a lead delivery or form submission system, and may include formatting, mapping, adding authentication headers, or converting structure (e.g. Zapier JSON → XML in AWS). 🔧 Responsibilities: Set up a Zapier Webhook or Formatter to POST data to AWS (likely via API Gateway or Lambda URL) Create an AWS Lambda function (Node.js or Python) that: Accepts incoming JSON from Zapier Re-maps or transforms it to match the client API schema Sends it to a third-party client API (either JSON or XML format) Adds any required headers (e.g. Bearer Token, SOAPAction) (Optional) Store logs to S3 or responses to Google Sheets or Airtable (Optional) Use AWS Secrets Manager to keep tokens secure ✅ Requirements: Proven experience with Zapier Webhooks + Formatter Experience building and deploying AWS Lambda functions (Node.js or Python) Comfortable with HTTP methods, headers, authentication (Bearer, Basic Auth) Ability to format outbound requests in JSON or XML dynamically Familiarity with SOAP APIs or XML schemas is a bonus 📁 Deliverables: Working Zap → AWS → Client API integration API Gateway or Lambda endpoint URL for Zapier to hit Setup documentation or short video walkthrough (Optional) Response logging or retry handling
