Detailed task description We need an experienced healthcare integration developer to design and implement a full CoverMyMeds API integration into our EMR. Scope of work Backend Integration: Use Python and Flask to connect to the CoverMyMeds API. Ensure secure, HIPAA-compliant handling of patient and prior authorization data. Store and manage submission and response data in Amazon RDS. Incorporate a knowledge base for tracking payer responses, status codes, and error handling. Dashboard Development: Build a web dashboard for clinicians and staff to monitor all prior authorization submissions. Include real-time status updates, retry/error alerts, and searchable history. Enable filters (by payer, medication, patient, status). UI/UX: Deliver a clean, modern, and intuitive interface. Prioritize speed and simplicity for clinical workflows. Responsive design that works seamlessly on desktop and tablet. Infrastructure & Deployment: Deploy on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with scalability and reliability in mind. Secure APIs, logging, and monitoring built in. Sandbox → production rollout process documented. Deliverables: Fully working integration with CoverMyMeds. Dashboard with user-friendly UI/UX.
