About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 The Team: The S&P Global Market Intelligence (SPGMI) Pricing platform provides pricing daily. This service is supported by global sell-side desks that are active in sales and trading, promoting market liquidity and pricing transparency. The pricing data team uses its contributor-based pricing system and sophisticated parsing technology to provide a valuation to investors. SPGMI Pricing services are used by financial institutions to help with investment idea generation, mark-to-market, and risk management. In addition, the service allows clients to track the value of proprietary via its easy-to-use, secure website or direct feeds to clients’ internal systems. Responsibilities and Impact: Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting and supervising the day-to-day running of S&P's CDS, Index pricing service, & Clearing services Will be required to gain a broad knowledge of S&P's offerings and be able to speak effectively on them externally Liaising with and maintaining our relationships with the dealer trading desks, and IPV Teams to obtain the most up-to-date and accurate source pricing for the CDS instruments we provide data on Providing exceptional client service by responding to client questions and performing demonstrations of website functionality Will be required to build external relationships with clients in addition to receiving feedback, and acting on feedback from customers on our products Assessing the quality of data provided and removing data sources that do not pass rigorous data quality checks Responsible for data quality, cleaning algorithms and client/dealer price challenges Generating metrics and reports on the quality of composite data Impact: We are seeking a motivated candidate whose contributions will significantly enhance our support for the North American client base and drive the development of S&P’s CDS and Clearing Services. By collaborating with team members globally, the candidate will strengthen cross-functional teamwork and improve operational efficiency. Establishing strong relationships with our sell-side contributors will ensure smooth operations, while liaising with the sales team on product specifics will enhance our collective market responsiveness. The candidate will work closely with various functions, gaining a comprehensive understanding of products with upstream and downstream linkages, ultimately elevating the performance of our flagship Fixed Income and Pricing product. Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $56,392.00 to $85,000.00. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: University Degree (minimum Bachelor) in a quantitative discipline or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience Understanding of financial markets, knowledge of and exposure to OTC products is essential Proven analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines Proficient in Excel , SQL Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with teams, senior members of the organization and clients Team player attitude is vital for the role. This includes giving and receiving constructive feedback, as well as a deadline-orientated approach to group project.
