We foster a collaborative and supportive environment where innovation and compassion drive everything we do. We are hiring a Transportation Specialist to join our team! Our Transportation Specialist: Provides transportation for senior residents in a community van, bus or car to medical appointments and other outings. Escorts and checks residents in at medical appointments, handling medical document delivery, receipt, and communication as needed. When not driving, this position participates in resident focused activities. Provides assisted transportation for residents in a safe and caring manner. Destinations include medical and dental appointments, banking, post office, weekly outings, shopping for residents and staff. Provides shuttle/courier service as needed. Coordinates transportation by car, bus, or van, scheduling to best meet resident needs for delivery and pick-up from appointments. Keeps supervisor informed of daily schedules, changing needs, and functions in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned. What you need to succeed: Must be at least 18 years of age. Cleared Criminal Record clearance through the Department of Social Services prior to presence in the community. Health screening and TB test results not older than 6 months. Current First Aid Training and Certifications as per Title 22. Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively within a team setting. May require a CDL (Commercial Driver License) Possession of a valid driver's license along with a clean driving record is required.
