I’m looking for an AI coding tutor/coach to work with me 3–5 hours per week using: • Cursor • Claude Code • And other LLMs (via APIs or built-in integrations) This is not a “do the work and disappear” role. I want to solve real problems in my business while you train me live — think pair-programming, system design, and workflow coaching. ⸻ What You Need to Be Good At You don’t have to know every tool on earth, but you should be strong in: • AI coding environments • Cursor (prompts, workflows, repos, context management) • Claude Code (projects, tools, workflows, good prompting habits) • Working with multiple LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) inside these tools • Developer + integration basics • Git / GitHub (branches, PRs, basic version control) • Calling APIs from code (REST, auth tokens, handling responses) • Structuring projects so AI tools can actually be useful (folder structure, config, docs) • Reasoning about architecture • When to use which LLM • How to break down a problem into steps for AI tools • How to avoid “AI chaos” and keep things reproducible If you’ve used AI tools to speed up real-world development (not just toy examples), that’s what I care about. ⸻ How I Want to Work • Format: Live sessions (Zoom or similar), screen-sharing, very hands-on • Time: 3–5 hours per week, likely 1–2 sessions • Style: • I bring real business problems, code, and ideas • You help me design the approach and implement it • You explain what you’re doing and why, as we go I don’t want magic tricks — I want to understand: • How to set up Cursor and Claude Code properly for my workflows • How to structure prompts, repos, and files so the tools help instead of getting confused • How to use multiple LLMs intelligently (not just “try another model and hope”) Every few weeks, I want us to have: • Concrete improvements to my workflows or codebase • Reusable prompts, templates, and patterns I can apply on my own ⸻ Example Things We Might Work On • Setting up a productive Cursor + Claude Code environment for my projects • Turning vague business problems into: • Clear specs • AI-assisted scaffolding • Iterative improvements • Using LLMs inside these tools to: • Refactor, debug, and extend code • Build small internal tools or utilities • Creating repeatable workflows: • “Here’s how we start a new project” • “Here’s how we use AI to debug an issue” • “Here’s how we document what AI built so humans can maintain it” ⸻ Who You Are • You actively use Cursor and/or Claude Code in your own development work. • You can show me real examples of where AI tools made you faster/better, not just demos. • You’re comfortable teaching: • You explain your reasoning • You can say, “That’s a bad idea, here’s a better pattern,” and back it up • You’re okay working live, on camera, and thinking out loud. • Bonus: You speak Spanish as well as English (not required, but a plus). ⸻ Logistics • Time zone: I’m in US Pacific Time (PT) and need at least some overlap. • Duration: Ongoing if it’s a good fit (multi-month). • Rate: Please include your hourly rate and a short justification based on your experience.
