We're seeking a visionary AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of our artificial intelligence strategy and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI/ML systems architecture, a strong understanding of current AI technologies, and the ability to translate business objectives into scalable, production-ready AI solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and architect end-to-end AI/ML systems and pipelines that align with business objectives and scale requirements • Define technical standards, best practices, and architectural patterns for AI/ML development across the organization • Evaluate and select appropriate AI models, frameworks, and platforms for specific use cases • Lead the integration of large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and traditional ML models into production systems • Design data architectures and pipelines to support model training, evaluation, and inference at scale • Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers to transition models from research to production • Establish MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, deployment, and governance • Ensure AI systems meet requirements for performance, reliability, security, and ethical AI principles • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI/ML teams • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization • Define and implement AI infrastructure strategies including compute resources, model serving, and cost optimization • Partner with stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities and develop technical roadmaps Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in software architecture or ML engineering, with 3+ years specifically in AI/ML architecture • Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning architectures, and AI system design patterns • Proven track record of designing and deploying production AI/ML systems at scale • Strong experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies • Expertise in ML frameworks and their architectural implications (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX) • Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures • Strong understanding of data engineering, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing • Knowledge of cloud platforms and their AI/ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI) • Experience with MLOps tools and practices (MLflow, Kubeflow, Weights & Biases) • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with other languages • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field Preferred Qualifications • Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field • Experience with transformer architectures, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering • Knowledge of responsible AI practices, model bias mitigation, and AI governance • Experience with real-time inference systems and model optimization techniques • Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures • Experience with edge AI and model deployment to resource-constrained environments • Understanding of AI regulations and compliance requirements (GDPR, AI Act, etc.) • Contributions to open-source AI projects or published research • Experience with computer vision, NLP, or reinforcement learning systems Technical Skills AI/ML Frameworks & Platforms: • TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, scikit-learn • Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex • OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API, Google Gemini • ONNX, TensorRT for model optimization Cloud & Infrastructure: • AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, EC2, S3) • Azure (Azure ML, Cognitive Services) • Google Cloud (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML) Data Technologies: • SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) • Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Milvus) • Data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis) • Spark, Dask for distributed computing Programming Languages: • Python (primary) • SQL • Java, Go, or Scala (beneficial) Our Commitment We are committed to building diverse teams and creating an inclusive environment where all voices are heard.
