- Position Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aerospace Program / Account Manager to oversee complex customer portfolios for our company. This role is critical to ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned customer SOW (Statement of Work), adhering to strict schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Possess or gain in-depth knowledge of tier-one Aerospace programs and portals (e.g., MoveIT, cFolders, ESIS) for efficient project execution. Various other customer programs may also be assigned.
- Review and create proposals and contracts for new and existing parts, customers, and/or Long-Term Agreements (LTA’s), discuss with the engineer(s), estimating, production leads, and customer service.
- Lead program planning by evaluating pricing/cost management and negotiating as needed, scheduling lead times, issues/risks, status throughout the project, and completion requirements.
- Request vendor lead time and make decisions based on schedules about expedited processes and evaluate costs for any changes.
- Collaborate with production managers, manufacturing managers, and colleagues to communicate project requests, updates, and status reports.
- Process customer Requests for Quotes (RFQ’s), manage engineering change requests.
- Manage program/customer Purchase Orders (PO’s), PO Changes (POC’s), and approvals, ensuring all modifications are documented and authorized accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare Open Order Reports (OOR), Work in Process (WIP) Trackers, and Line of Balance (LOB) projects as requested by customers and programs.
- Provide exceptional customer and product support, proactively addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Act as a liaison and attend meetings/conference calls (video or phone) with customers, fostering clear communication and managing expectations.
- Maintain program status and schedule updates, informing production leadership and the customer of progress and potential roadblocks.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards.
- Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in program management and customer service within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on-time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of customer workspaces and portals (MoveIT, cFolders, ESIS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of purchase order processing and change order management.
- Ability to take ownership and build the position to fit with the company.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling work with urgency.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
- US Citizenship is a requirement.
- Must be fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Aerospace manufacturing operations management and aerospace engineering principles.
- General knowledge of quality systems (AS9100), finance, and purchasing.
- Intermediate knowledge of contracts/sales, terms and conditions.
- Knowledge of tier-one Aerospace programs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation is competitive and based on experience. This is a full-time, on-site, non-exempt position, and the wage range is $32.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability insurance, 401(k), and optional supplemental insurance. This on-site position has negotiable options for occasional remote work access.
