Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process for patients, ensuring accurate and timely registration.
• Verify insurance information and handle insurance verification processes.
• Utilize Athenahealth software for patient management and data entry.
• Maintain health information management standards while handling sensitive patient data.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone systems, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
• Assist patients with inquiries regarding admissions, insurance, and hospital services.
• Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with medical office staff to ensure smooth operations within the hospital setting.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE ONE RELIABLE SOURCE FOR REFERRING CLIENTS.
• Previous experience in a medical office or hospital environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in KIPU and Codemax electronic health record systems is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to assist diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of health information management principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
