Location: Remote

Required Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years). In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 5-8 years of work experience in office administration, project coordination, operations or related field, preferably working with key constituents. Work experience supporting executive staff highly preferred.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

Estimated Salary Range: $36-$43 per hour


The Job


The Administrator, President's Office will provide overall coordination and support for the President's office, working with and supporting members of the Board of Directors and key contacts, providing technical assistance and research, and implementation of various projects under minimal supervision requiring significant use of own judgement and discernment. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.


Responsibilities Will Include

  • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
  • Perform complex and diverse administrative duties directly related to the achievement of the goals of the President that involve high-level contacts and exposure to confidential and sensitive information, necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.
    • Responsible for reviewing and ensuring appropriate responses to President's email. Disseminate to appropriate parties using discernment and maintaining confidentiality.
    • Provide meeting coordination and hosting support for special guests of the President.
    • Maintain inventory of books and supplies for the President's office.
  • Perform and coordinate key projects and liaise with internal and external contacts on project information needs.
  • Perform research for the President's office. Assist in the preparation of highly confidential reports for leadership.
  • Monitor and maintain databases and files of key information, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Provide support to the Board of Directors:
    • Ensure travel plans, including flights, rental cars, and hotel accommodations are secured for all participants and communicated effectively.
    • For off-site meetings, responsible for meeting site selection. Negotiating to ensure best rate.
    • Oversee food and beverage selection, audio visual service and other needs are met to ensure successful meetings.
  • Work with appropriate internal departments to ensure President's speaking engagements and other events are promoted and advertised.
  • Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years). Salary & Benefits

WVUS Pay Grade Level: 223

Estimated hiring range is $36-$43 per hour.

This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Federal Way and Washington D.C. offices. A different range may apply based on your work location.
