- Description
- Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP is seeking a full-time administrative office clerk who is flexible and willing to handle a wide verity of office tasks. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch.
Duties for this position include
- Receives, handles, logs, sorts and distributes all in-coming mail;
- Collects, sorts, applies appropriate postage and sends all out-going mail;
- Operates postage meter to stamp out-going mail according to class of mail and current rates;
- Notifies supervisor of necessity of repairs to machines;
- Sorts, logs and organizes deliveries and packages for distribution;
- Prepares packages for shipment by parcel service or other commercial delivery service;
- Prepares and maintains daily activity reports;
- Maintains clean workspace;
- Process, receive, store and fill supply orders;
- Copy and scan documents according to instruction;
- May provide assistance with outside-the-office deliveries by car and on foot;
- May assist with main reception desk coverage including answering a multi-line telephone and greeting visitors;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Requirements
- Understanding of Microsoft tools including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills in person and by telephone.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members.
- Ability to handle and adjust effectively to competing deadlines and priorities.
- Valid driver's license.
