Job Overview
We’re seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to support our DV, DUI, and behavioral health programs. This is a 1099 contractor role, ideal for someone who’s organized, emotionally intelligent, and committed to maintaining healthy boundaries in a healing-focused setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, greet clients, and handle inquiries
- Intakes
- Answer calls and texts professionally, providing clear information and support
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized electronic filing systems
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Support client communication while respecting therapeutic boundaries
- Create and proofread documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Manage vouchers and billing as needed
- Maintain a calm, organized office environment that supports client dignity
What We’re Looking For
- Strong administrative skills across scheduling, documentation, and client support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel—or a quick learner with tech confidence
- Compassionate and grounded—able to support clients without stepping into therapeutic roles
- Clear on professional boundaries and respectful of scope of practice
- Positive energy and resilience—this field brings enough intensity; we value lightness and clarity
- Not easily manipulated. Firm but kind, with a strong sense of self
- Experience in behavioral health or medical settings is helpful but not required
- Must pass a background check and random drug test

Additional Duties
This role includes a variety of behind-the-scenes tasks that support client care and program compliance. Examples include managing discharge paperwork, updating group sheets, corresponding with probation officers and the DMV, handling billing and voucher documentation and more. Flexibility, attention to detail, and comfort with shifting priorities are key.
