Task Breakdown: Step 1: For 2 existing python scripts change the input library to Win32api. Then change the MIDI notes to midi notes for actual Drums and an actual guitar Step 2: Create a python script that converts a wav file into synthesizer parameter data for additive synthesis so I easily clone an instrument's timbre without a ton of manual effort (Current resynthesizers are terrible at this even if I pay a hefty cost). Target Synthesizer: The best Additive Synthesizer for this task as long as it is a free VST The python script should do the following: 1. Target a single instrument stem wav file (Example: Drum.wav) 2. Convert the audio wav file Audio into numerical data: Representing the raw sound wave as a series of numbers, typically for data analysis Target Python Library used for file conversion: Librosa (Subject to change based on Candidate skills and recommendations) 3. Query the numerical data to obtain the parameters needed for the additive synthesizer 4. Export the parameter data into a .txt file To Test the result: Manually plug in the data into an additive synthesizer, play the original Drum.midi file Expected Result: The original sound should be recreated Step 3: Tune some virtual instruments to match referenced .wav files and create some basic additive synth presets presets total (Basic and referenced) Was originally 35 presets I raised price now 40 presets
