We are seeking a qualified Acoustic Consultant to provide professional review, verification, and signature on noise impact assessments for U.S. renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Our internal engineering team will prepare all analysis, noise models, and documentation. Your role will be limited to: ✔ Reviewing the completed noise assessment ✔ Confirming methodology & regulatory compliance ✔ Providing comments (if needed) ✔ Signing off on the final report as the Acoustic Professional of Record This work is project-based, recurring monthly, and ideal for consultants who prefer light technical workloads with high professional value. Scope of Work - - Review noise studies prepared for U.S. permitting authorities - Validate assumptions, modeling parameters (dBA, setbacks, ISO 9613, etc.) - Confirm compliance with local/state noise regulations - Review site plans and equipment sound power levels - Provide signature + brief statement of professional compliance Requirements - Degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field - Experience with environmental noise assessments - Familiarity with ISO 9613, ANSI S12, FHWA noise criteria, or state-level noise codes - Ability to sign reports as an Acoustic Professional - Prior experience with solar, wind, substation, or BESS noise assessments (preferred) - Must understand U.S. permitting standards (California, Texas, Midwest, Northeast, etc.)
