Capital Concrete Co. is a leading provider of high-quality concrete materials for both residential and commercial projects. We’re on the hunt for a sharp, experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist who knows their way around numbers and people. This role isn’t for the faint of heart — our sales team is full of energy, ideas, and requests. You’ll need the kind of personality that can handle pressure, set boundaries with grace, and still deliver accurate, on-time financials and be part of an amazing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable including invoicing, payment processing, and collections
• Post journal entries and reconcile A/R accounts in QuickBooks Desktop
• Prepare and send client statements and payment reminders
• Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts
• Coordinate with sales and operations to ensure billing accuracy
• Complete new customer setups, including sending and reviewing credit applications
• Support monthly and year-end closing processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Prepare A/R aging and cash flow reports
• Assist with mail collection and general administrative duties as needed

Qualifications Required:

• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop
• Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work across multiple software platforms

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in construction, concrete, or related industry
• Familiarity with project-based billing and credit processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a degree in any field with specific experience in Accounts Receivable.

Compensation:

• Starting at $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
• Monthly performance-based bonus opportunities available
