Our client is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist.. This company is seeking an experienced individual who has worked within AP for at least 2 years.

• TYPE: Contract-to-hire
• LOCATION: 100% On-Site in San Francisco
• PAY: $35-$38 per hour
• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The ideal candidate has experience with Accounts Payable within the Fashion industry!

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 100 vendor invoices weekly in Oracle, ensuring accuracy and proper GL coding.

• Perform 3-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.

• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely approvals.

• Prepare and execute payment runs (check, ACH, wire) in accordance with company schedules.

• Maintain accurate vendor records and respond to inquiries regarding payment status.

• Reconcile AP sub-ledger to general ledger and assist with month-end close and accruals.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain organized documentation for audits.

• Collaborate on-site with merchandising, receiving, and accounting teams to resolve issues quickly.

• Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to Oracle system enhancements.

• Must have the ability to work within a paper-based system
