• At Avion Hospitality, precision meets purpose. As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial engine that fuels our hotels across the country. Your work ensures our vendors are paid accurately and on time — keeping our operations running smoothly and our partnerships strong. This is more than processing invoices; it’s about building trust, transparency, and results across every transaction.
• What You’ll Do
• Own the end-to-end accounts payable process — from invoice receipt to payment — with speed and accuracy.
• Review, verify, and reconcile vendor statements to maintain strong, trusted relationships.
• Collaborate across departments to solve payment issues and streamline processes.
• Prepare and support month-end closings, ensuring clean and timely financials.
• Manage vendor setup and compliance, including 1099 filings and documentation.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank and general ledger accounts tied to payables.
• Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Be an integral part of a collaborative accounting team that values initiative and innovation.
• Requirements
• What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience (hospitality experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software; Paylocity/M3 experience a bonus.
• Detail-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
