Overview

Small business (sole proprietor) in San Francisco seeks an accountant on a part time contract basis. The hours can be 5 to 10 per week (your choice) and the total hours needed for this position are approximately 20-25 hours. There is potential to be hired long term for a few hours a week after this position.

*While this position can be fully virtual we prefer to hire locally and interview in person if possible. At the very least please be in PST.

We're hiring an Accountant to track income and expenses, reconcile bank statements, and manage financial records. In this role, you will record all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills and a keen eye for numerical details to support our company's financial health.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document all incoming income and outgoing expenses.
• Reconcile bank statements claim payments.
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy.
• Upload bank statements to accounting software and create accessible systems for company use.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting software such a QBO or Odoo and Dext. Adept at learning new accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
