We're seeking a benefits guru to join us as an Account Manager II, Employee Benefits. In this role, you'll work directly with brokers, carriers, and clients to deliver exceptional service and help businesses navigate the complexities of employee benefits.
- What you'll do...
- Independently manage a book of business under $700,000 in commission income.
- Partner with producers to develop and coordinate service plans for assigned accounts.
- Prepare file setups, quotes, proposals, and renewal packages for groups between 2–100 lives.
- Support client meetings, enrollment events, and benefit fairs.
- Review applications, policies, and renewals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain account files, track deadlines, and deliver timely responses to client inquiries.
- Build and strengthen relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Stay current on industry trends, products, and compliance requirements.

- What You'll Bring
- 2–4 years of direct Employee Benefits Account Management experience.
- Strong knowledge of plan designs, proposal procedures, and account servicing.
- Experience with Fully Insured and Level-Funded plans.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
- Illinois Life, Sickness, Accident, and Health license.
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Valid driver’s license.
