Are you an experienced A/R (Accounts Receivable) professional with a strong background in healthcare billing and follow-up? We are looking for a detail-oriented A/R Follow-Up Specialist to join our team! If you have expertise in handling claims for acupuncture, chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, and primary care (PCP) services, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Perform timely and accurate A/R follow-up on outstanding claims with insurance companies, patients, and other payers. Handle denials, appeals, and re-submissions to ensure maximum reimbursement. Monitor claim statuses and ensure all billing adjustments and corrections are made promptly. Work closely with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies, secure payments, and obtain approvals. Process authorizations and verify insurance coverage as needed. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations and insurance guidelines. Update and maintain accurate documentation of all follow-up activities and communications in the billing systems. Assist with claims for acupuncture, chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy, and primary care services. Requirements: Experience in healthcare billing, specifically for acupuncture, chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy, and PCP services. Proficiency in Office Ally and NextGen Practice Management Systems. Strong knowledge of insurance billing processes, including EOB interpretation, claim resolution, and follow-up. Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes relevant to the mentioned specialties. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with A/R follow-up in a multi-specialty healthcare practice. Knowledge of payer-specific guidelines and authorization processes. Strong understanding of denial management and appeals workflows.
