About
We are looking for a Maya environment and prop modeler to support our team starting right away. This is an assistant role focused on creating stylized, clean, and technically consistent assets (UVs, texel density, file formats). You will work directly with our lead artist, with steady work and room to grow. Responsibilities: Model stylized environments and props in Maya with clean, efficient topology. Unwrap UVs and maintain consistent texel density. Deliver assets as both Maya source files and exports (FBX/OBJ). Follow established file naming conventions and folder structure. Collaborate with the lead artist to match technical guidelines and adjust assets as needed. Requirements: -Proficiency in Maya for modeling environments and props. -Understanding of UV mapping and texel density standards. -Ability to prepare clean, animation-ready assets. -Strong communication and responsiveness (English not required to be perfect, but instructions must be followed carefully). -Portfolio with examples of environment or prop modeling work. Nice to Have: -Experience in production pipelines for animation or games. -Basic texturing or lookdev ability. -Interest in building long-term collaboration. Timeline -Start immediately. Ongoing assistant role with potential for expanded responsibilities.
