Inside the Role Support Plant activities with an emphasis on Training, Safety and Environmental compliance, sustainability and improvement. We Take Care of Our Team Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting tools, using keyboard and mouse Must be able to walk and stand on concrete for multiple hours within a shift with potential for repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 30 pounds. Computer skills needed (Microsoft office, Outlook, etc.) Willingness to cross-train throughout the area Ability to interpret and implement verbal and written instructions and directions Good oral and written communication skills Good organization skills Read and understand training, Safety & Environmental documentation Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently Ability to work overtime when necessary Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating Perform other duties as assigned Perform physical duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures Update Training, Safety & Environmental documentation on computer and manually Foster a positive Training, Safety & Environmental culture Help monitor Safety & Environmental improvements Work with other business entities to come up with and share best practices, conduct compliance audits, take an active role in committee to help come up with proactive practices to reduce near misses and accidents Schedule training and meetings, track attendance Administrative support for training database/matrix, (M)SDS portal, filing and tracking compliance documentation, and other system related documentation. Perform assigned tasks within the stated or implied deadlines and meet all expected deliverables Adhere to established work rotation plan, if and when needed to support other shifts Ability to read and understand Work Instructions, JHAs, JESs, and Risk Assessments Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy Ability to operate hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner.
