About

Objectives (Definition of Success) Supplier discovery & price minimization: Deliver vetted shortlists with RFQs from at least 8–12 suppliers per category, with negotiated MOQ, EXW/FOB/DDP quotes, lead times, tooling, and warranty terms. Achieve ≥15–25% price improvement vs. initial quotes without quality loss. China tour planning & hosting: Plan a 5–7 day itinerary (trade shows + factory visits) covering our three categories; arrange invitations/badges, transport, translation, and meetings with decision‑makers. Trend & white‑label playbook: Provide a concise methodology and weekly report on how to spot and validate trending products in China, and a step‑by‑step OEM/ODM/white‑label path (packaging, branding, certifications, IP, and launch timeline). Categories (initial focus) Heavy machinery (e.g., compact excavators such as Rippa and equivalents; attachments; mini‑loaders). Luxury furniture (West Elm–style design; sofas, tables, case goods; solid wood, metal, upholstery; boutique hotel grade). Construction materials (tiles/ceramics, bricks/blocks, insulation, windows/doors incl. glass & aluminum systems, fixtures, hardware, solar and batteries, heat pumps, etc.). Deliverables (what we expect) Sourcing Dossiers (per category): supplier shortlist table (company, location, ownership, export share, top markets, certifications), contacts (WeChat/phone/email), product fit notes, risk flags. Negotiated RFQ Pack: side‑by‑side quote sheet (MOQ tiers, unit price, mold/tooling, payment terms, warranty/returns, lead time, packaging, Incoterms), and a negotiation log (what was asked, vendor response, delta). Samples & QC: sampling plan, photo/video unboxing, third‑party inspection plan (pre‑production, during, pre‑shipment), acceptance criteria, COA/certificates. Logistics Plan: shipping options (FCL/LCL/air/rail), DDP vs. FOB pros/cons, landed‑cost estimate by destination (EU/UK/UAE), HS codes, duty/VAT estimates, insurance. China Tour Plan: 5–7 day itinerary (shows + factories), appointments confirmed, travel time blocks, translation notes, budget, hotel areas, safety checklist. Trend & White‑Label Playbook: discovery channels (B2B platforms, Alibaba, Douyin/Xiaohongshu/WeChat groups, market visits), filters for traction, rapid white‑label pipeline (artwork, packaging dielines, brand marks, labels, barcodes, CE/REACH/ROHS as relevant), sample timelines. Weekly Reports: progress, blockers, next steps, price deltas achieved. Candidate profile (must‑haves) Based in Mainland China; fluent Mandarin + English (written/spoken); strong WeChat etiquette. 5–10+ years in product sourcing/procurement with proven factory access and negotiation outcomes. Hands‑on with heavy machinery (or industrial equipment), furniture, and/or building materials supply chains. Experience arranging factory audits, QC, and third‑party inspections (e.g., QIMA/SGS/BV) and coordinating international shipments. Comfortable guiding foreign buyers at trade shows (badges, meetings, translation, ground logistics). Nice‑to‑haves: CAD/spec literacy, basic compliance knowledge for EU/UK/UAE, familiarity with trademarks/brand registration for private label.
