ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Dynatrace Consultant with hands-on experience in Dynatrace SaaS in Grail to support a global monitoring initiative. This role involves both strategic consulting and hands-on technical execution, aimed at enhancing monitoring capabilities across complex hybrid and cloud-native environments. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams and empower technical stakeholders to make full use of Dynatrace for performance monitoring and optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and deliver Dynatrace trainings, workshops, and webinars for internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Provide expert consulting and technical support for Dynatrace usage within the global end-to-end monitoring service.

• Create and maintain complex Dynatrace dashboards aligned with business and technical objectives.

• Develop and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guides.

• Advise on best practices for Dynatrace implementation in cloud-native, hybrid, and containerized environments (e.g., SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Support infrastructure and system monitoring, including architecture planning and hands-on services related to cloud and container orchestration technologies.

• Set up and manage alert configurations, ensuring timely responses and minimizing false positives.

• Provide professional services and support to monitoring service customers, identifying areas for improvement and integrating Dynatrace updates and new features.

• Collaborate with application development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and SRE teams to align monitoring solutions with operational needs.

• Ensure all activities and outputs meet compliance standards, including DORA requirements.

• Participate in 1–2 on-site workshops in Munich or Bucharest as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven hands-on experience with Dynatrace SaaS in Grail (mandatory).

• Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring and management using Dynatrace.

• Experience with Dynatrace installation, configuration, and optimization in various environments.

• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, server, and application architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud architectures (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

• Experience supporting alert configuration and management strategies.

• Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

• Comfortable working with Kanban methodology.

• Awareness and adherence to compliance standards, including DORA.

• Excellent communication skills in English (documentation must be in English; meetings may be held in native languages when all participants share it).

• Prior experience in a consulting or IT services role focused on Dynatrace solutions.
