- Clean and maintain guest hallways, service landings, stairwells, service elevators, and storage rooms.
- Dust and clean all furniture, fixtures, hallway phones, mirrors, lamps, pictures, and ice machines.
- Reposition misplaced furniture and clean service landing doors and kick plates regularly.
- Report any deficiencies, damages, recurring issues, missing or broken items, stains, or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor or Housekeeping Management.
- Implement VIP designation procedures in line with the Peninsula Service Principles and Standards.
- Forward all lost and found items to the housekeeping office or Security.
- Follow all emergency regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
- Respond to guest requests within 10 minutes, using names discreetly and presenting items professionally.
- 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role; preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as a team and with a diverse team.
- Ability to communicate and read effectively in English.
- Standing up to 8 hours and ability to lift 30lbs
