Title: Data Analyst

Reports To: VP – Business Systems & Technology

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Analyst / Data Modeller with strong experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, and SQL to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing scalable data models, building efficient ETL pipelines, and delivering high-impact insights through interactive dashboards and custom apps. A key part of this role involves working with SharePoint data sources, transforming semi-structured content into well-defined datasets for analysis. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and Power Apps is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, test, and optimize data models and datasets in Power BI using Power Query, DAX, and SQL.
• Build end-to-end ETL processes, including extracting and transforming data from any data source (ERP, CRM, SharePoint, LIMS) into structured, analytics-ready formats.
• Create engaging, interactive dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Develop custom business applications using Power Apps and automate workflows via Power Automate and other tools in the Microsoft suite of applications.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot Studio to build applications to make business processes efficient.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into data solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security best practices.
• Provide documentation, support, and training to end-users across departments.
• Manage production support tickets in the ITSM system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner involving other teams as needed.
• Monitor system performance and ensure operational stability.
• Coordinate with IT, external partners and other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they are proficient with new systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills to understand data and help with building solutions that are consistent, reliable, and scalable.
• Ability to create product demos, carry out presentations, put together training documents, and lead training sessions using tools such as MS Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Lucid Charts, Figma etc.
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance and impact of current and new solutions
• Manage changes and enhancements requests from the business.
• Must be able to understand the ask, clear out the noise, get to the real requirements, and derive the benefits of implementing it.
• Ability to prioritize support issues, enhancement projects to meet business expectations.
• Be a go getter where you can contribute individually as well as in a team.

Working Conditions:

• Standard office environment.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines or resolve critical production issues.
