Job Summary: The Standing Order Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the scheduling and execution of recurring transportation requests, ensuring standing orders are accurately maintained and fulfilled. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in healthcare transportation logistics. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, providers, and Care Partners to guarantee reliable and timely service.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and maintain standing orders for dialysis and other recurring medical appointments.
Ensure all scheduled standing order trips are covered by vendors or Care Partners.
Monitor ride performance and proactively address scheduling conflicts or coverage gaps.
Coordinate with providers to confirm ride assignments and resolve issues.
Update and manage standing order data within the transportation management system.
Assist with VIP transportation coordination to ensure high-quality service.
Communicate with members regarding their standing order schedules as needed.
Collaborate with the Pre-Plan team to ensure efficient trip allocation.
Generate reports and analyze data to improve standing order processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare transportation regulations.
Qualifications:
Required: 1-3 years of experience in scheduling, healthcare transportation, or logistics.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and manage high volumes of standing orders efficiently.
Experience with transportation management systems or scheduling software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
You must have your own equipment, including a laptop or desktop computer, headset, and mouse.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, or private healthcare transportation programs.
Experience working with dialysis patients or other recurring medical transportation needs.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
