About the Role

As the IT Support Specialist, you will help take the IT team at Everglade Works to the next level, a truly unique opportunity, while growing your own skills and creating an amazing work experience for your colleagues. It’s your primary role to support the day-to-day distribution center operation while assisting remote users, tracking equipment, building documentation, and emphasizing superior support models.

You will be IT’s eyes and ears on the ground, directly supporting our Phoenix location while remotely supporting engineers, as we grow across all U.S.. time zones. You will be your best self while maintaining the team’s integrity and responsibility to the business.

You’ll assist coworkers at all levels and disciplines. It’s true, much of your time will be spent on setting up accounts and computers for customers but we want you to grow and excel too. You’ll certainly help with repairs, asset tracking, authentication (password resets, our favorite), installing software, AV questions, and creating self-service documentation, just to name just a few.

Fully Remote Role

Well, this is not your average job ad, and we're not looking for Passion

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Embrace the daily challenges of assisting users within a large distribution center facility.
  • Maintain wired and wireless network connections and diagnose connectivity issues working with remote network engineering team members.
  • Support macOS and iOS devices with two to three years of in-depth deployment and support experience. Be ready to demonstrate experience with the latest versions of macOS
  • Help establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory and asset tracking system for our operations.
  • Remotely support users – knowledge of screen sharing tools such as TeamViewer and ConnectWise.
  • Handle user onboarding/offboarding including hardware configuration, credentials, and permissions
  • Collaborate with the IT Ops team to support internal projects, deployments, and audits
  • Maintain networked time clocks.
  • Setup and support local and networked printers.
  • Manage physical access control and security camera systems.
  • Show a positive outlook (not Outlook) and humor – make IT nothing less than an immersive, atypical experience for all of our co-workers.
  • Mentor and assist co-workers and vendors for continuity of policies and procedures instituted by our team.

Qualifications
